I’m Eliza, a UKCP and BACP registered psychotherapist, with extensive experience working therapeutically with children, teenagers and adults.
I offer a warm and supportive space for individuals of all ages who are navigating emotional difficulties, relational challenges, or periods of change and uncertainty. This may include anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, behavioural struggles, family breakdown, developmental trauma, self-harm, or the impact of grief, illness, and separation.
I've always been deeply interested in people, with a natural empathy for how others feel and what they might be going through. This curiosity about feelings, relationships, and what shapes us as individuals led me to train as a psychotherapist. I believe one of the most powerful parts of therapy is feeling truly seen and understood, and this continues to shape the way I work today.
I am passionate about supporting individuals to overcome the challenges they face, and I believe that with the right support, everyone can move towards greater wellbeing and living a fulfilling life.

Hello!
That curiosity about feelings, relationships, and what shapes us as individuals eventually led me to train as a psychotherapist. I believe one of the most powerful parts of therapy is feeling truly seen and understood, and this continues to shape the way I work today. I am passionate about supporting individuals to overcome the challenges they face, and I believe that with the right support, everyone can move towards greater wellbeing and living a fulfilling life.
Like many young people, I struggled with my mental health growing up, and it was only when I found the right therapist - someone who really understood me - that things began to shift. That experience showed me how powerful it can be to feel truly seen and understood and it continues to shape how I work today. I find it a real privilege to sit alongside others with warmth, curiosity, and compassion, with a genuine interest in each person I meet.

I See all Behaviour as Communication
I don't view behaviours as 'bad' or in need of fixing. Instead I see them as meaningful attempts to cope with difficult feelings or experiences.
These might show up as people-pleasing, overworking, self-harm, school refusal, or withdrawing from friends.
Rather than judging or trying to remove these behaviours, I support children, young people, and adults to explore them with compassion. Together, we can make sense of where they came from, how they may have helped, and whether they’re still useful now. From there, we can discover safer, more sustainable ways of managing feelings.
At the heart of my work is empathy, care, and the belief that lasting change comes through a trusting relationship — not quick fixes.
My Experience
I have extensive experience working with children, young people, and adults of all ages and diverse backgrounds, across a range of settings.
In addition to private practice, I’ve worked in schools, which has given me valuable insight into the emotional and relational challenges many young people face in educational settings, from academic pressure and friendship struggles to feelings of not quite fitting in.
I also spent five years working for a bereavement charity and a low-cost therapy service, where I supported children, young people and adults from diverse backgrounds. This experience deepened my understanding of grief and trauma as well as the importance of offering therapy that is accessible, inclusive, and grounded in respect for each individual’s story.
During my training, I shadowed within several CAMHS services, including crisis, inpatient, and neurodiversity teams, as part of multi-disciplinary teams (MDTs), where I gained a deep insight into the NHS referral and pathways system.
